A graffitto (the singular is not half as expressive as the plural) on a Cape Town-bound train this afternoon read: “There’s better things to do in live like tic yourself to death because we will all die one day.” (Misspellings left intact)

That saddened me no end and made me stop. “Tik” is crystal meth.
